The hydrometer is great. test tube, not so much. The stand doesn't hold it very securely, I'm afraid it will tip over when filled with liquid.

Wrong hydrometer sent. I already have two areometers for beer and wine. I now have three because the wrong item was delivered. Maybe more training is needed.

When I opened the package and took out the hydrometer, it was broken, I'm not satisfied, I can't check anything with it, the glass tank was intact. The hydrometer was not worth the price I paid, I cannot use it and I have a big problem returning it.

Works great. Like laboratory glassware, this is fragile glass so handle with care. Tip: The hydrometer tube fits into the test tube for easy storage. Wrap the inner tube with some paper or bubble wrap to keep it tight and secure.

Very nice transparent glass, hydrometer easy to read It sits well on the table. I screwed the plastic base onto the wooden platform for more stability. The glass test tube is easy to remove and clean/disinfect. The areometer is supplied in a practical protective cover and is clearly marked for all brewing steps. I definitely recommend this combination. for home brewers. Precise and functional.

The hydrometer and the glass test tube were good. The test tube did not fit in the socket. I nearly broke the test tube after inserting it into the base. He would only go 3/4 of the way and would love to push it back. The inside diameter of the base was 1-1/8 inch and the inside diameter of the jar was 1-1/4 inch. I was able to fix it using a 1-1/4" hole saw to remove enough plastic to fit.

The first one was broken so they replaced it for free. Works perfectly. A guide is not enough if you have no experience with it and have never used it. Do your homework and do your research. Be aware of the extreme difference in usage between measuring things like medicinal alcohol, sanitizer, sugar, water, beer, wine, spirits, and other things as you do your usage homework. I measure alcohol and hand sanitizer.
