I have been wearing these shoes for 6 months. I wear it every day, all day. These are pretty much the only shoes I wear. I walk my dogs in the forest 6-7 times a day and go shopping. When this boot gets dirty it washes out of the hose and dries as quickly as my towel and you can hardly tell if it's worn out. This shoe is very comfortable. It is easy to put on and take off without leaning, but does not come off when walking. The profile of this shoe is substantial to say the least - I have never seen a garden shoe with such a large profile anywhere else. It's just as thick and firm as when I got the shoes and I don't see any signs of wear. The part holding the ankle strap has never broken or snapped off (on most other shoes I've had, this part usually snaps off within the first month and I have to come up with some sort of tie to hold the strap in place). I walk sticks and stones and these shoes have not cracked or chipped. I have tried so many different brands of these shoes and I have always been disappointed because they are not durable enough or I slip on wet or muddy surfaces. I have never been disappointed with this shoe. I bought two more pairs as spares because I'm concerned that if this shoe finally breaks I won't be able to replace it. I love these shoes.
