Dog food was not available so it was delivered in the best possible way. Missy liked it. swallowed. I ate too much and got sick. It was our fault. Found the right amount and never shy away from eating her food so clearly loves the taste. I always seal my bags with chip clips to keep them fresh. Strings/mesh have started to show at the bottom of the bag showing some sort of nesting insect. I ordered another bag and started a subscription. Throw away old food and replace it with new. After going halfway through this bag, the fly begins to fly out and begins to see these threads in greater numbers. A new bag came, changed. All is well for a while. A new box arrived and sat on a chair in my formal living room for a while. He got sick, so the neighbor fed the dog. She made the mistake of leaving her bag open for 3 days without a chip clip. You come back and the bag is full of the same cobwebs, the larva is all in the bag. I have these big moths that fly all over the house in every room and land on everything. There have never been any. But I've seen them in other bags a few times. He got out through that bag and cursed. Went into the living room and picked up the box from the chair. A nugget fell out. I opened the box and picked up the package to put it on the floor. The bag fell apart completely, scattering dog food dust and mouse droppings all over the floor. Mice flew in all directions. AMAZON SENT ME A CARD FULL OF MICE. Now there are mice everywhere in my house. I ordered humane mouse traps that work great. I caught 20 mice in a week. See individual reviews. The mice ate a hole in the bottom of the box and damaged the upholstery of the chair she was sitting on. The hole isn't through the fabric, it's close. I know that like all food, all dog food contains small amounts of mouse droppings, eggs of various bugs and insects, and other foreign matter. And if I had 5 dogs that ate a big bag of food a week or two before the eggs hatched, maybe that would be fine. I am a realist. So now I buy small bags more often. But I think the fault might be in the Revain warehouse. Possibly a flaw in first come, first served inventory management practices causing some packages to stay too long before I receive them so I end up with stale groceries. Expiration dates not checked. But they probably do too. BUT SHIPPING A BAG/CARD FULL OF MICE IS 100% UNACCEPTABLE. I'm not complaining, so I've been sitting on this frustration for months. I still have mice and can't get rid of them all so this has become a rage now. I've bought a lot of stuff from Amazon including a lot of groceries. makes me think twice Now I will definitely check the expiration dates of all consumables. Insects in dog food and a box full of mice are just unacceptable. Other than that, I love Revane, just a little less. Well, maybe a lot less. Still a customer, but never bagged dog food again.
