Not leak-proof: oil trays

Bought cheaply, but the cover with the seal is not tight at all, it rests on the plate and does not provide a seal. I'm worried someone will pick it up and think it's sealed and the lower cymbal will fall off and break so fingers crossed it will hold up. Wouldn't buy if I had to redo it. On the other hand, it's a nice deep bowl that easily fits 2 packs of butter side by side, more if you stack them after they've softened and combine them.
