Review on LG 27GN800 B Ultragear: Response Compatible 2560X1440P, Flicker-Free, Adaptive Sync, HDR, Anti-Glare Screen | Review & Buying Guide by Adam Ayyagari

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good monitor, except for a few minor things.

For the price, this is probably one of the best 144Hz and gsync monitors you can get. Everything works fine for me, but there are a couple of little things that really annoy me, namely: - I can't adjust the monitor at all - very rarely does it turn off randomly. Then I have to disconnect and reconnect the power supply. In a month of owning the monitor this has only happened 3 times. HDR is literally a gimmick and I'm not advising anyone to turn it on; it makes videos/games worse. I have several true HDR 4k TVs and monitors and this "HDR" is a total gimmick that will give a lot of people the wrong idea of what HDR is.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • No performance
