I've been trying to collect this thing for a long time. I couldn't tighten any of the screws holding the shelves to the stand with the included screwdriver or drill. I ended up having to tighten them with pliers, which worked, but scratched the metal in several places and was time-consuming and annoying overall. The shelf itself is beautiful but flimsy. If you can't/can't screw it to the wall I would recommend not using higher shelves to store something heavy or valuable. You could probably find a better product at a better price.
