To slide the part of the USB stick that plugs into the USB port out of the case, you have to use great force to press. Then it makes a loud click and pops out. I have no doubt that the case will eventually break after multiple uses. As far as I know, the drive's electronics work fine, but I've never had a flash drive that didn't work very well. But the case engineering is very crappy.
