Review on Aquafresh Cavity Protection Fluoride Toothpaste Oral Care - Toothpaste by James Gibson

After liking Aquafresh Mint toothpaste for years I now have to switch to another one because after using this specialty toothpaste I get an intense bitterness that is no longer special to me. Just ordered another minty Aquafresh which will arrive today, thinking the bitterness was from something other than toothpaste, maybe something I ate. When I finally realized that the intense bitterness (of course in the mouth after use) was coming from this toothpaste, I still wondered if it could be coming from the unsealed tube and wondered if anyone could spoil it. Aquafresh Mint is NOT supplied sealed. The presence of a security seal gives customers more convenience, they feel more secure and confident that everything is in order to use the product. You can rate a product highly if the company cares about consumer safety. Unfortunately, in all the many years of using and enjoying Aquafresh Mint, I had to make the switch because of the bitterness that bothers my mouth. I also noticed that my mouth got very dry after using it. Maybe they changed the formula. Maybe others don't understand this bitterness, but I understand. See for yourself I think. I hope this review is helpful. I can try again the toothpaste that arrives today and see if it produces the same bitterness. The last 3 tubes gave me the same problem. Sabiene :) UPDATE: I had to use Aquafresh again because I couldn't find any other toothpaste that cleans my teeth as well as this Aquafresh Mint. I like the taste too and it doesn't make my teeth as sensitive as Colgate and Crest either. I always brushed my teeth twice in a row with Aquafresh. The question remains, is the bitterness and dryness in the mouth due to Aquafresh, stress or is it sometimes due to a slightly different recipe?
