Review on Sennheiser HD 600 Professional Stereo Headphones - Open Dynamic Design for Hi-Fi Audio (Black) by Ada Grodzicka (Grodz ᠌

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

1) For about fifteen years, people have held the belief that the HD600 is the industry standard. When becoming familiar with open dynamic headphones for the first time from reading reviews, a person will typically realize that the HD600 has an excellent sound (I fell into their ranks at one time). Those who, on the other hand, already own other, more costly headphones, such as the Beyerdynamic Amirone, 1770PRO, ATH 1000-2022 series, or isodynamics, will find these senshi to be too uninteresting to use. The HD650s deliver more bass, but the 660s are already better balanced, and as a result, I would advise you to focus on the 660s. 2) Headphones offer an unparalleled level of comfort and are designed with an ergonomic fit. Simple to take off and put back on again. 3) One of the characteristics of these ears is that the characteristics of the sound do not alter significantly depending on the source. In order to somewhat compensate for the "deafness" of these ears, I would suggest listening to sources that have high frequencies that are pronounced, crisp, and dynamic. The sound quality of the Creative AE-5 was satisfying to my ears. 4) I wouldn't say that the HD600s have an oaky sound; the majority of contemporary in-ear amplifiers have no trouble powering the HD600s. It is abundantly evident that a built-in or external ZK that is powered by USB is not appropriate for this situation. 5) I do it occasionally so that I may listen to something in the background.

Pros
  • 1) Exceptional ergonomics and comfort when worn on the head. 2) Sound quality that is acceptable for the price range. 3) A quiet sound that is appropriate for listening in the background 4) 300 Ohm, which is appropriate for tube ears 5) Open design
Cons
  • 1) As a result of the fact that this model is an improved version of the Senn 59, the standards for high-quality sound correspond to those that were prevalent 20 years ago. Still, for this price, it will have to do. 2) The quality of the sound is poor. When compared to designs that are more current, but more expensive, it is clear that there has been advancement in technology; however, the Sennheiser family has been left behind as a result of the retirement of the company's founder, Fritz Sennheiser. 3) Despite the fact that the architecture is open, the stereo panorama is slightly more restricted. 4) A HF that is expressed just partially.
