This is an essential accessory for a hammer drill for removing tiles laid on a concrete floor. We removed several hundred square feet of tile using this bit as our primary tool for loosening the tiles. This works great, but remember that once the tile is removed you will need to periodically sharpen the drill bit with a bench grinder to loosen the tile and effectively remove any grout residue. So invest in a good, heavy-duty floor scraper to remove grout residue. This is a 4-5 foot long scraper with a heavy steel blade that can be replaced.
