So this bullshit isn't even 18 gauge, it's somewhere around 19 gauge. A good 14 gauge wire should be made out of about 45- 50 strands of 30-gauge and ideally about 100-110 strands of 30-gauge 34-gauge wire Why, you may ask, does this matter?The wire carries electrons well to its "skin" or its "Outer" area. So the more filaments, the more surface area, which means better electron flow (signal) that the amplifier outputs to the speakers. a to point b (amplifier to speaker).
