Ordered for my 6 year old son and I like them because they are not mesh they seem to hold together very well with the laces. We've had them since school started in August. In fact we bought two pairs (one for my nephew) and his shoes are holding up very well considering these boys don't do well in their shoes. Top quality pair of shoes for the price!

- Turns out a little smaller than expected. I would take the size 1/2.
