I apply this to my affected areas at least once a day and it's been approximately a month now. In the before and after photos they have lightened a bit, but not super significantly. Purchased this lotion after two years of a doctor telling me I could either use treatment to make the TV go away or wait some time for it to naturally subside. It did NOT subside, and I think it actually spread (because of the conditions where I live -cough-SoCal-cough-)Reason for my subtraction of one star is that this lotion is fairly greasy and even after rubbing it into your skin for a while, some of the lotion will still sit on top.
