I was really looking forward to my new Skechers golf sandals. They were very comfortable when I tried them on at home but once I'd worn them down on my first round of golf and the grass was still a little wet from watering. a lot of. I tried not to make a full swing so as not to slip. Another thing I didn't really think about was wearing sandals when coming out of the sand. What a mess! I had to take them off after the second hole. I let her blow as hard as I could but my feet still slipped. I have wide feet so I had to have enough straps to tighten them up. But they were about as tight as I could get them unless I wanted the straps to hang down. I had to send them back. I can't imagine wearing them when it gets really hot and my feet are sweating. I think it's a great idea. But with a plastic sole, it's like walking in wet flip-flops. They also need more straps on the side for slipping. They are really sweet but just haven't given me the support I need when I play golf. I love my sketcher golf shoes, was hoping they would fit.
