Update: 2 days after receiving the item my dog went out on the leash and saw another dog, pulled a little and the metal ring held that Martingale together, opened and the collar fell off. She ended up running down the street. I hope mine was just defective and will request a refund/replacement as the collar is beautiful. Got it in the mail today and put it on my dog, she is a German Shepherd/Husky/Boxer mix and weighs 85 pounds. I have a big. That is beautiful. very bright and beautiful and thick. She ate her last one which was also a martingale but mine was too fluffy. I love the way this one sizzles against her fur! It seems like it will last long provided she doesn't take it off and chew it. She can chew on even the "toughest", "hardest" dog food, so I hold her a little tighter. Overall I enjoyed it and wanted to leave a review as I rarely do.
