Good idea if you want to fit a higher rpm governor spring to your Cummins and the valves don't float. Please note that you need to order two sets to get a complete set. There are only 6 pieces in the package. I didn't catch it and had to order a second set. Originally designed for the exhaust only to prevent valve float when using the exhaust brake, you can use two kits to increase the rev range of your engine. This is a good idea if you are using a 3200 rpm spring and very important if you are using a 3800 rpm spring or higher.
