The TBMax 20-pound rice storage container is an attractive bin that is a huge step up from storing an open bag of rice in the pantry. It is made of a sturdy plastic that appears to be durable enough to tolerate the infrequent handling I expect it to take in my kitchen. The bin includes a lid with gasket and silicone button to keep air (and critters) out as well as a measuring cup that is a bit larger than one cup.The transparent plastic makes it easier to identify the contents without opening the lid. This is convenient, especially if you use several containers in your pantry. In addition to white it could just as easily hold other types of rice, flour, beans, or other dry goods.This container is a great addition to my pantry. It eliminates the potential mess of a big, open rice bag lying on the shelf, and is a more efficient use of space since it goes vertical rather than horizontal (like a bag of rice).
