It's time for my first oil change on my new Hustler mower. However, the oil filter had other ideas. It must have been tightened with an impact wrench. I mangled and crushed it but never took it off. The whole process was complicated by how difficult it was to get to the filter. Then I saw this device. It looks like something alien, not at all like your traditional oil filter wrench. But it worked in less than a minute! Definitely recommended. There's just one thing I don't like. On the outside of the package was a proposal to text a specific number in exchange for a link to a YouTube video with tips on how to remove *really stubborn* filters. I just did this to see what they would be like. The video was a series of 3 ways to improve your grip or leverage. The problem is that it looks like data mining. Why did I have to send an SMS to get the video link? Why wasn't this automatically stated on the packaging?
