Review on Stylish and Waterproof: Introducing the Columbia Women's Pardon My Trench Rain Jacket by Stacy Jackson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Much smaller than expected

Having had the exact same jacket in a different color for the past few years and lost weight thought it might be wise to order a smaller size. dead bug. I used the handy Prime Wardrobe option to look at the different color options - only to find out that Columbia have skimped on these jackets and they are too small for a full size, maybe closer to 2 sizes. Another disadvantage is that the belt is no longer removable. Because it's lightweight and travel-friendly, I decided and reluctantly went back to the larger size. Luckily the hood stays roomy and covers my head. A relatively skimpy hood could break the deal. The jacket also covers my hips, which is not easy to find at 5ft 8in. "Cloud Burst" is definitely darker than the picture but still a nice turquoise color. Therefore, the trench coat gets three stars for these design features. But for the price, I'm extremely disappointed with the size.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
