Gray gloves are attractive, withstand well even a cast-iron pan that comes out of the oven at 500 degrees (bread is baked in concentrators). The non-slip surface of the gloves is a real plus when working with hot, fogged glass. They are comfortable to wear and I found them very easy to clean with washing up liquid right in the kitchen sink. I've only used oven mitts as a heat pad as the gloves are quick to put on and comfortable to wear, but it's nice to have proper oven mitts, if only to protect my countertops. Small cloths are great for stainless steel. They do not leave lint on surfaces and perfectly withstand multiple washes. For less than $20 I felt this set was good value and I would buy it again.
