Review on Belkin Lightning To USB Cable - MFi-Certified IPhone Lightning Cable (4Ft/1 by Doug Cardello

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Seems more robust than Apple's own version! (but doesn't work)

Update: After Apple's software update, this cable no longer works. I suspect there is a hardware key that determines the apple cable or not. Otherwise, the iPhone rejects the cable completely. I will inquire about a return or exchange for a refurbished cable. I had to change my rating from 5 stars to 1. :( You must have read countless iPhone cable reviews by now. Do you buy cheap and risk a product that might fall apart the day you receive it, or do you pay a premium price and hope it reflects the quality? Me bought this cable and here's why: *Belkin is a reliable brand. They usually do good things. *The price of this cable was lower due to the color (black). *Other reviews were generally favorable. I use this cable only been a few days at the time of writing but will post updates as my level of satisfaction changes Materials used are excellent Every aspect of its construction is noticeable and feels very durable 8" or so longer than the cable, that came with my iPhone 5. That's a plus, the connection to my phone is good and tight - maybe even better than Apple's standard cable. The function is also perfect. With my At a Glance, there's no need to examine additional cables, your painful comparison might stop here. :)
