Here are the pros: This quilt set is very pretty and I love the colors and the way it looks my deciding factors. We live in a warm climate and a thick blanket is just uncomfortable. The duvet is large and dangles perfectly from the sides of our double bed. It doesn't touch the floor as shown in the photo, but this can vary from bed to bed. (And we really didn't want that -- the room might get hungry.) Negative and reason for the star deduction: I'm just not sure if it's going to be long-term. Threads are showing on some of the embossing but we only had them for a week, we washed them once on fine linen and hung them to dry. We've been careful not to take them out, so we don't have any missing spots yet, but I think it's just a matter of time. Our bed is very made, so I'm not too hopeful. If you fold your blanket and put it out of the way before bed, and be very gentle with it, you'll likely put more miles on it. Still, it's relatively cheap, but its true value remains to be seen when we find out what its lifespan will be. will be. Another minus: if you need softness, look elsewhere. The fabric isn't terrible, but not what I would call soft. A fabric softener can help.
