This duvet is perfect for Spring/Summer/Early Fall. You may need a heavier one for winter and colder nights. I personally don't like thick ceilings so this is perfect for me. The material used for purple is similar to velvet/felt. It's really awesome. i love colors If you're tired of purple, the other side (and the wrong side of the right side) is a soft gray that's just as pretty and can be used with other colors.

This is a very nice set, I am very happy with its appearance. This is NOT a comforter or thick blanket. It's mentioned in the description so I wasn't surprised or disappointed but I can see where others would be if they didn't read the fine print. While it's washable, it's not as good as we'd like. It doesn't fall apart entirely, though, and for the price, it's a good choice.

I have had this set for a long time and was initially concerned about the quality and stain resistance. Sometimes I have a dog hanging from the head of my bed, but I've washed him several times and he still looks brand new. The purple flowers or leaves have a light texture that surprised me at first but doesn't bother me at all, it's a bit like felt. The blanket is thin which I like. I have memory foam which is very good at keeping me warm and I needed a lightweight blanket. That was excellent.

Nice throw. The cat vomited the first night afterwards and after washing, the stain completely disappeared. Then wash it a few more times and it always looks great afterwards. I am very happy that it fits in my normal washing machine. Washed in cold water but the darker purple leaves seem to be fading slightly. Very nice blanket. If you have yellow or warm bulbs, they will look a lot grayer and purple ones will appear darker. If you have a lot of natural light or blue light, it will look the same as the picture. The photo clearly shows the color difference from the light. The color difference was more noticeable in person. The pillow pads aren't too tight for my pillows as I saw in a comment but they still look small. It's not super soft, but it's not bad either. Overall very nice. I will be returning

Here are the pros: This quilt set is very pretty and I love the colors and the way it looks my deciding factors. We live in a warm climate and a thick blanket is just uncomfortable. The duvet is large and dangles perfectly from the sides of our double bed. It doesn't touch the floor as shown in the photo, but this can vary from bed to bed. (And we really didn't want that -- the room might get hungry.) Negative and reason for the star deduction: I'm just not sure if it's going to be long-term…
