I tried 10 different police pants on amazon and returned all of them for fit or quality issues except these. These are excellent, and the pocket design is excellent. You can carry in several places with these comfortably.Note that there is a difference in the "zip" ones with a zipper pocket in front of the front cargo pocket, which have a small section of elastic band, and the same size ones without these features which fit much tighter.
- The gusseted crotch design reduces friction, which can help prevent chafing and other discomforts
- The design of the pants is outdated, and not modern-looking
