This vertical laptop stand does exactly what it's supposed to do. The vertical stand is delivered pre-assembled but consists of 3 components. There is a base and two arms. One of the arms is a simple arm that looks like a book stand. The other arm has a swing attachment that can hold a phone or tablet. The shoulder width is fully adjustable. It fits all size laptops, even 12 year old thick laptops. The base has two rubber strips on the bottom that help keep the stand in place. There are also soft rubber grip areas on the top to keep the laptop in place as well as the phone/tablet. The only downside to this thing is that it's definitely made out of soft white plastic and looks like soft white plastic. It doesn't feel premium, so if you want to make it look a little better on your desk or bedside table, you can find plenty of inexpensive metal coasters. But this stand works well. If you are all right with the look, then you will definitely be satisfied with it.
