We received the bags last week and I installed them when we took the Turbo R to the Mogollon rim last weekend. On the way back, a light rain caught us, our hands got a little wet, but somehow everything in the pockets got wet. We have a glass front windshield, a rear PE windshield and lower doors to keep most of the dust and water out, but everything was wet in the bags. Luckily my wallet and other papers were in the glove box, but my personal gun, dusty bandanas, and some snacks got wet on my side, as did my wife's wallet on hers. Mention the durability of the plates from the Post, and they aren't waterproof in the slightest. I ordered some stock dry to treat them, hope this helps a little.
