This is a clarifying shampoo
Highly recommend using with their conditioner. Tea tree has a specific scent that most people find to smell medicinal. I don't mind the scent. So the shampoo is a clarifying shampoo and I use at least five days a week. When used with their conditioner, my hair is so very soft. The shampoo does it's job for what I bought it for.
