I'm baffled why some people say the lighting here is adequate unless they put the same bulbs in all the mirrors. Either way, this is the worst lighted mirror I've ever seen. I could strike a match in a dark room and get as much light as this thing can handle (and no, I'm not kidding. It's crazy how weak it is). Too bad because it's a very nice mirror; it looks solid and well made. I bought this because I wanted to replace my vanity mirror with one that doesn't take up as much space and looks as good on my vanity; Unfortunately I am sending it back due to poor lighting. I'll try LED instead. I found one here at Revain that has both a battery and plug (I don't want to keep buying batteries). Hope one works better.
