Review on Pelican 1170 Case With Foam (Desert Tan) by Timothy Richmond

Case of good quality. I am fitting my Glock 19 pistol (with pilot light attached) and two magazines. If you lay the magazines sideways and stack them on top of each other, you can carry 4 magazines plus 1 more in your gun. I tried cutting out the outline with a razor blade. I did not feel that well. I couldn't make the cuts even enough so I just removed the small squares. Not too bad, just not that attractive once the items are out of the case (it looks square). But he holds my gun and magazines well! I put everything in place and closed it and then shook it, it felt secure. Check out the photos from other reviewers as they will help you understand just how well you can set up your hardware. I recommend using two padlocks with the same keys. . 7/8" shackle. I bought several Brinks locks at Walmart. 5 pin toggle switch in lock. 2 packs for $10 or 4 packs for $16.50. I bought 4 packs to have 4 keys. Better to be safe than sorry.. Someone else mentioned Master Lock 140T, 2-pack for $10 at Revain, 4-pack for $15, 4-pin toggle switch.
