Although the description says 12 months+ I bought this for my 8 month old baby and she loves it. She loves the different plastic molds that it comes with. They have little beads inside that make them sound like a rattle. She likes to hold it by the ribbon or rope (which is pretty strong) and shake the whole toy with the plastic figures inside. I don't see the strings snapping. All in all a pretty solid toy. Great toy for them now and in the months to come.
