I love these baby beads. This 3 month old baby loves looking at pearls and holding them special. Each large bead and its shape give the baby special tactile sensations, different lumps in the palm of his hand --- he really likes it. It has enough "wingtips" to easily find a mouthfeel without frustration. The colors are bright and the insects' eyes are very noticeable and clear. The beads are strung on a thick white cord that can be washed. These pearls have substance but without the heavy weight. IF I had to give a negative answer it would be that when he's holding the beads the length sometimes slips below his 90 degree elbows and he still can't get out of that position on his own, he's blocked and trying very hard for the beads to the face, but they are not enough. The beads are not too long and not too short, just right for this little bear.
