I was nervous ordering this dress for the black tie fundraiser I was attending. The cut was exactly what I was looking for, but I was concerned that the fabric "might look like a bathing suit". That. But not so obvious that I couldn't get it to work. I got loads of compliments throughout the evening. I've adorned it with dramatic architectural silver detailing that complements the long black silhouette perfectly. Flat shoes made the length perfect, to the floor. For reference, I'm 5ft 3in and curvy. I wore a one-piece shapewear piece from shoulder to ankle that created a smooth surface for the dress to slide and slide properly. , The dress is fitted but not tight. Definitely a win for the price!
