OK, so maybe it's not the soft curtain you would expect, more of a linen-like rough thick material. But of course I use it more for decoration than for sleeping. Always puts a smile on my face when I see it and everyone else who walks by. Whimsical, I guess you'd call it - goes well with my shabby (or is it just shabby?) LR decor, and mine goes great with my 100+ pound spoiled lazy German shepherd who often sits on it. I will add a photo when I get it. Although I haven't cleaned it yet, I don't mind - it seems quite durable, with tight stitching and an "invisible" zipper for easy cover removal (fits a standard 18"x 18") for dry cleaning or hand washing. Well worth the small price and the wait which in my case was only about 2 weeks. I would definitely take it again.
