Nostalgia in the palm of your hand

As a kid, I just loved Ultraman! Rubber monster suits, space travel, ultra martial arts - and most importantly, a collection of cool rocket and laser cars to imagine driving. I would give a year for one of these rocket planes! This little kit puts all that nostalgia right in the palm of your hand, and costs a lot less than a year's supply. ). Some of the parts are cast red, saving you the hassle and drying time of the paint. The stickers provide the rest of the color. Despite the simplicity of these kits, I have a few assembly tips: Although no gluing is required, you can apply a few drops of superglue to hold some parts in place. In this set it was a vertical tail fin and a square bottom plate attached to a stand. - The plastic is very brittle! It breaks easily. This means that the parts can be easily cut (neatly) from the sprues and broken, but are also easy to break. The antenna is very fragile so handle with care - The stickers look great but can cause problems. First make sure that the entire sticker has come off the backing and is starting to slide, otherwise you will tear it very easily. Once the sticker is applied and dry, never touch it again! The glue on them doesn't seem to be there and it seems that just touching them is enough to detach them. If this happens, re-wet and reposition. The yellow dorsal stripe on the caudal fin is particularly noteworthy. It will never rotate 180 degrees without Decal Softener. I ended up just cutting it in half and applying one piece at a time. Now I have collected three such sets from this series. The level of nostalgia and fond memories these models evoke is unmatched by their tiny size and equally low price. Spend some money and be a kid again!
