I made my own square throw pillows out of regular throw pillows by removing the filling, cutting and then sewing the end back on because I couldn't find a matching pillow I liked on the internet. (Yes I'm that cheap) I also wanted dust mite covers for each pillow. I bought a king size mattress topper cheaply at auction to cut to size for sewing. That meant I needed zip ties. Precut zippers would cost me more than pillows so I went with this zipper set as I made 4 large pillows and needed 8 long (18") zippers for dust mite covers and outer covers. I was concerned that the poufs would be too tight would be big.but I happened to see someone complaining that the pull tabs are too small.Sold out!Once you have learned how to attach the tabs to the zipper (assisted by another person who is tying the ends of the zipper holds up), it's as easy as precut zips!I have plenty left over for future projects too!Very happy with this set of zips!They may not be strong enough for everyday use on jackets or sweatshirts, but great for DIY!
