The value there is the best in my rating
Don't buy this monitor for HDR. It's capable but doesn't produce beautiful HDR content. This is my second LG 21:9 monitor. And it turns out to be a great value. Don't expect to be blown away by the image quality, but for a layperson it's more than acceptable. The software on my previous LG monitor was better too. For general content consumption and casual gaming, I highly recommend this product. Keep in mind that many games do not support 21:9 aspect ratio.
