This is a GREAT monitor. The colors on this display are unrealistic. Very real black guys who definitely live up to their reputation. Unfortunately, it camouflages itself pretty poorly in fast action games, especially in FPS, which is a shame. I have a high-end graphics card and also use a digital connection. Always with the native resolution, of course. I had a 17-inch Dell LCD with a 25ms response time and could handle its slight halo. I felt that since it had the same response time it would have had the same performance. Also reading other reviews from people saying it's good for gaming I figured why not try it. I've tried it on Doom 3 and Far Cry and it's an awful phantom. So if you are an avid gamer, especially FPS games, do not buy this monitor. When gaming isn't your thing, this is one of the best, if not the best, LCD monitor out there.
