The perfect complement to our LED feeding adventure. We bought this for our 6 month old daughter as she now loves mashed potatoes more than solid food. She is also independent and wants to control the spoon, causing a lot of confusion and frustration on her part. This works great for her to feed independently and keep it out of the ridiculous mess. Not really for whole foods, but we use food pulp with a little mix (over water since it has nutritional values). It's not a puree consistency, but it can still come out of the holes if squeezed out. It has a small hole, but we just put it in with a baby spoon and everything is fine! In addition, for best results we have to fill it completely, which leads to food waste since we don't reuse it. In general we like it.
