A few months ago I had a really horrible allergic reaction to something that made my lips terribly cracked, itchy, sore and swollen and then reacted to almost every lip balm I put on ( mostly Burt's Bees). To my knowledge, it appears that the fruit oil or fruit extracts found in most lip balms have made the problem worse. This balm was the only thing that didn't make my lips react and it's the only one I use now. The tube is more convenient to carry than a tin can (so you don't have to mess it up by touching it and you don't mess up your finger). I always have the phone at home and at work.
