I bought this stand to hold my 12.9" iPad Pro in portrait mode and to display guides next to my computer. While there were many tablet stand options, they were all designed for smaller devices and I was concerned that they might tip over, especially with a tablet this large. But with this stand, I don't have to worry about that too much. The base is decently heavy to keep it in place, and a bit of rubber on the stand also keeps the tablet from moving. The stand does get a little wobbly, but when I hold the tablet up as long as it's only about an inch off the surface and at a slight angle, it's solid. While this stand isn't ideal for portability, it packs well. Overall this is a great buy for the price.
