The benefits of it include: Excellent standard. Smoothly glides across the surface. Not even the noisiest mouse can utterly shatter the tranquility of the night with its clicking sounds. Changing the battery is simple, and I use NiCd batteries in my device. Despite the very heavy use I put it through, it still seems to endure for a few months. These are some downsides: A hand of average size could find it a little too small. It seems like some form of interference, but it only happens occasionally and it only slows down the radio channel. First of all, and most crucially, the icing on the cake, which is why I will be changing the review to reflect this. Eight months (!) after the beginning of use, the left button started making a rattling sound (double operation). The nature of my work requires that I do so rather frequently. But, it has only been eight months, Logitech! The challenge here is that you have to look for a mouse once more.
