Instructions followed exactly. None of the test strips changed color for measurable readings for things I know are in water, like iron and dissolved solids. The bacteria test turned turquoise almost immediately, indicating a high concentration of bacteria, and the water has been tested by government agencies and other companies with conflicting results. I may have just received a faulty set but it was a waste of money.
