Not exactly what I need

Looks great on paper, but some of the features listed are misleading. Technically, all listed features are present, but the small print details should be specified more precisely. Large bold type on the packaging indicates that this device is compatible with iPhone and iPod. Although technically correct you will need the latest model as older models are not supported. This is an issue I'm having as I have an older, high capacity iPod Classic that works fine but the main unit throws an error when plugged in. (see image) Searching the list of error codes in the manual explained this. The device also supports USB flash drives (Fat16/Fat32 ONLY) and most modern drives come pre-formatted to ExFat. A quick reformat will work, so I found a solution to my old iPod problem, right? The main unit has a file structure limitation, which is not a problem for many people, but even for me, copying 30+ years of album data creates 300+ folders/subfolders. The device has a limit of 8 directories, a total of 300 subfolders and a maximum of 15,000 files. The weird thing is that the main unit sees every file on the drive, but all but the very first folder turn gray and inaccessible. (see picture) Of course, no one wants 15,000 songs, but since I have tons of them, I usually leave everything on random so I never hear the same track twice. Since then, on a USB stick, I've had to sort through the collection and put all the songs in one folder to make it work the way I want it to. none of the physical buttons) and is hidden by default, so you'll have to expand the submenu to find it. A minor inconvenience, but worth noting if you have years of muscle memory with "random keys". A key feature is a front-mounted auxiliary port. If I had it, all my other problems would be nullified. Installation was just a pain due to my particular vehicle (Dodge Challenger) and my desire to retain the steering wheel control functions which required a few additional components to connect to the vehicle between the car wiring harness and the radio. After connecting everything worked like clockwork. It's not a bad radio anyway, it's just not something I misunderstood. For everyone else, it's probably perfect.
