Pretty But Useless Reading Glasses

For such a low price I wasn't expecting miracles but decided to try them out and see if they are suitable for home use so I can leave my expensive prescription computer glasses at the office. On the other hand, they turned out to be more attractive than expected; The green turtle frame was really cute! Judging by the size they should have fit me, but the temples are curved so they don't stay on the head. The biggest problem, however, is that the progressive part of the reading glass was unusable. Even with one eye closed and looking at different areas of the lens with my eye open, I found it very difficult to find a spot on the lens that actually had magnification. With both eyes open, they were utterly useless to me. The tiny information leaflet inside was also illegible. Lesson learned - I should have known that standard trifocals don't have focus zones in the right place for my pupil. Take my advice and get professional progressive lenses.

Cons
  • Very expensive
