Review on 🐱 Optimal Digestion Care – Royal Canin Feline Nutrition Sensitive Loaf in Sauce Canned Cat Food by Rosemary Veliz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Thanks for the dainty new glasses, Royal Canin!

It seems like a decent food for my older cats who both have digestive problems. I don't see any difference between them in this or I/D, I just want to do what's best for them. While they usually like it more than I/D, one of them seems to be fed up with it. . It's not the end of the world given the new tiny size of "big" cans. Cats need a certain amount of food; Making the jar smaller and hoping we don't notice is really impractical. My cats are the same size as last month. If you also dry feed, you might not mind. Since dry food can put a lot of strain on a cat's digestive system when it comes to intestinal inflammation, I'd prefer the doses to stay the same size. Edit added: Royal Canin offers different types of this food and their names are confusing. This is a "loaf in gravy", which is a pie with no apparent sauce. While this is a poor description, just because you received a pie does NOT mean it is fake. I sympathize with those who have received bad batches; I did not. As of 06/08/2021, Revain is flagging this food item as unavailable. As frustrating as the reduction in cans makes me, I wish they would stock this food again.
