I'll admit the magnets aren't as strong as others, but they stay on if you drop them and whatnot. It's not designed to test how much it can hold... However, charging is optimized, which is great. This is stated in the description of the pictures. Depending on what it is connected to, it will charge accordingly. USB-A charging and small output jacks keep it charged easily. USB-C with the correct voltage will show the MagSafe charging ring when you plug it in. If you're looking for a MagSafe charger without spending around $50, that's great.
