Review on HP 27-Inch FreeSync Gaming Monitor 🖥️ 2560x1440p, 165Hz, Adjustable Tilt, Height, and Pivot, ‎2V7U3AA#ABA by Fort Mascho

As mentioned in several reviews, some HP have opted to replace the vaunted LG panel in this monitor with a cheaper BOE (Chinese manufacturer) panel. It's hard to say how much this detracts from the quality of the panel, but be aware that the first wave of very positive reviews for it may not be as accurate as it was. I was worried about a dead pixel exactly one day after the 30 day return period was up, but I think it was a false alarm. I also think I may have received the returned monitor as it has scuffs and the warranty was already activated 2 months prior to receipt. You may need to figure out what's at stake. Just do your due diligence and if you can get one for sale we hope it will serve as a decent monitor given its size, resolution and refresh rate. Will be updated over time as issues arise.
