It's a good mount, but...

This is a good mount except for the coax cable used. I'm a radio amateur and have used this on a hood mount. The problem is the coax cable and a lot of radio interference causing my engine electronics and ECU and an awful lot of high frequency hiss in my radio while the engine is running and when buttons are pressed. I switched the cheap coax to RG-142, the problem was solved.

Pros

This is a quality, low profile mount that gets the job done. The 13ft NMO cable easily connects to the antenna and there is enough cable to connect an antenna installed almost anywhere in your vehicle/car.
