Review on Motherboard ASUS PRIME Z690-A by Wiktor Witold Skow ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Lousy product, low quality.

Brought the mother under the XCOM-SHOP warranty in the service, they examined her meticulously and issued this . That they say I tore out the slot from the usb 3.0 port and beat the motherboard on the sides and because of this it may not be accepted in the "ASUS service". Since my work, as it were, depends on the health of the motherboard, there is no benefit for me to do this. Everything would be fine, only the incorrect wording was indicated in the document, namely "The slot is torn out (missing)", which clearly indicates that the guys are not playing fair and are trying to convince themselves not to return the money. There was no slot on the motherboard from the very beginning, it is difficult to notice at the first inspection, only if you find 10 differences with the original from the picture, the slot attachment point is absolutely sterile, the contacts are not damaged, there are no signs of violence and the usb extension cord stood up like a native, though it was pulled out with effort. I agreed that the slot was (missing), but did not agree with the wording "torn out" refused to sign the documents, and the service began to claim that I agreed with what I pulled out and it was recorded on camera, although in fact I expressed doubt and thought about the missing contact, already looking at the picture mat. boards on the Internet, I understood what they were talking about about the plastic slot retainer and expressed my disagreement with this. I would not recommend buying from this store, because in the event of a warranty case, their service guys tend to sue not in your favor.

Pros
  • A handy utility from Asus can tie the fan speed to the temperature of the processor or video card.
Cons
  • The mother died while rendering in Blender at standard settings, without overclocking. I used it for half a year, everything is fine in games until I decided to RENDER a heavy scene. Keep in mind if you want to buy a motherboard for work, I suspect that the motherboard has power problems, or overheating on the pci-e bus during its heavy load.
