If you are planning to upgrade to this tier of drones, you will love this aircraft. Like many people, I have argued between this drone and the "other” company’s drone. I watched countless comparisons on YouTube, read everything I could find about this drone and seriously considered which one to buy. I am a professional photographer/videographer, creating quality images and videos for independent and corporate clients. The quality of my equipment is at the top of my list of performance requirements. Drone Evo 2 8k is an amazing drone! Autel carefully considered every aspect of professional performance and product design. Like a high-end DSLR, this drone has many features and customization options. You have complete control over everything: shutter, aperture, ISO, resolution, white balance, gimbal angle and more. It has all the mode settings you will ever need including single shot, burst mode, time lapse, aperture priority and shutter priority. You can set the resolution from 720P to 8k. It has adjustable frame rate settings from 24 fps to 120 fps. And the 48 megapixel camera takes amazing pictures. This drone has 6 missions including Follow me; Parallel flight to record moving objects; an orbit to avoid the designated object; Point to point flight path, path where you can create your own virtual reality flight path and settings. You have every possible combination of settings to do what you want. Now let me talk about piloting this drone. Flying this plane is a dream! Joysticks are tight, like the steering wheel of a sports car. The lack of "play" in the joysticks makes flight extremely accurate. This drone responds beautifully to your movement commands. You can adjust the speed and maximum altitude of your drone according to your needs. The drone is equipped with obstacle avoidance sensors on the top, bottom and both sides. This drone is larger and heavier than the similar drone of the "other" type. This makes this drone extremely stable in flight, which in turn produces better photos and videos. Autel built this drone with high quality materials. This does NOT look like a toy! The controller is also well made and not in the least poor. The intelligence of the controller cannot be praised. It displays all the information needed for an incredible flight experience. And the expandable cell phone holder securely fits most cell phones. A few final thoughts. 1. Autel, the company is just great! They strive to be the best of the best for customer service. I had some really nice email exchanges with them even before my drone arrived.
